These terms of service apply to your use of the Selectie app. By using the app, you agree to these terms. Last updated on 18 August 2026.
About Selectie
Selectie is an app for football coaches to keep track of their team's trainings, matches, selections and statistics. The app is available for iOS and is in Dutch. Selectie is provided by Tom Maessen, who can be reached at info@tommaessen.nl.
Your account
You create an account with your email address and a password, and confirm your email address with a verification code.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and for everything that happens under your account.
You use Selectie as a coach. You are of legal age, or you use the app with permission and under the responsibility of your club.
Data you enter
As a coach you enter data about your team and players, possibly including underage players. You are responsible for ensuring you are allowed to record this data and that you have obtained consent where required. Do not enter more data than is needed to manage your team. How we handle this data is described in our privacy policy.
Permitted use
You use Selectie only for its intended purpose. You do not use the app for unlawful purposes, do not attempt to circumvent its security, and do not disrupt the service.
Availability
We do our best to keep the app working well, but cannot guarantee that it is always available or available without interruption. The app requires an internet connection and does not work offline. We may change the app and its features from time to time.
Costs
If any costs apply to the use of the app or parts of it, we will show them in the app beforehand, before you make any purchase.
Intellectual property
The app, its design and the Selectie brand name are the property of the provider. The data you enter remains yours and your club's.
Liability
Selectie is a tool for recording your team; the app does not make decisions for you and does not give coaching advice. You remain responsible for your own choices as a coach. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the app or from incorrect or incomplete data.
Termination
You can stop using Selectie at any time and delete your account, along with all data, from within the app. We may terminate an account if these terms are breached.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. You can always find the most recent version on this page.
Governing law
These terms and your use of Selectie are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
